All of us involved with Cork Community Bikes are volunteers, and we are excited to have new people join us. Volunteers help out customers every Saturday afternoon at the public session, 2-4 pm, and we also have a volunteer workshop session on Wednesday evenings from 6.30 pm. Every second Wednesday of the month, the workshop session is replaced by our monthly meeting, relating to the running of the organisation. None of these Wednesday sessions are open for the public to fix their bikes.
If your interest is in fixing bikes, we have plenty of bikes that can be worked on! We offer free training for volunteers and we try to support each other with ongoing learning.
If you could help us and you have other skills besides hands-on repair, we are definitely interested to hear from you.
