We are running 2 free events during this year’s Cork Lifelong Learning Festival:
- Tues 5th April 13.00 -14.00 – Check and maintain your bike
Mechanics from Cork Community Bikes will show you how to check your bike to make sure it’s safe and comfortable to cycle, helping you be more aware as problems develop and save you money on repairs. We will also show some quick repairs for common problems. Tools provided. If you don’t have a bike with you, we can lend you one for this session.

- Fri 8th April 13.00 -14.00 – Bike gears and chains – smooth operation
Problems with your chain slipping, gears misbehaving, or you’d like to learn how to use and adjust them better? Bring your bike along and mechanics from Cork Community Bikes will show you how to adjust your gears and check your chain for wear. Tools provided & if you don’t have a bike with you, we can lend you one to learn with.
