Sad news, and workshop closed until 19th Jan

Last Thursday, Denis Murphy unexpectedly passed away. Denis was a good friend and a huge help to us, his generosity and humour were felt by so many in the community, and he will be sadly missed by a great many people.

Funeral details here, removal Sunday 13th:

I have a number of children’s bikes I would like to donate if you are interested.
Let me know where to bring them and I will deliver.

Hi Mike, thank you very much for your offer, but unfortunately we can’t take children’s bikes at the moment. We have limited space in the workshop and limited volunteer time. Children’s bikes tend to be quite low quality and so harder to repair, and people don’t seem interested in buying second-hand children’s bikes, so unfortunately all those reasons mean we currently are saying no to them. You could ask your local bike shop, but if they’re not interested then the next option is the recycling centre.
