Bike repair course, basic. Dec 2019, 2-day [FULLY BOOKED]

Description

This is a 2-day basic course on two consecutive Sundays, 1st Dec – 8th Dec. 10:00 – 16:30 each day. Classes are held in our workshop, location on our contact page.

Topics covered include basic checks, parts of the bike, brakes, gears, wheels, bearings. We try to give you as much hands-on experience as possible. Notes are provided by email.

The cost of the course is €50. There are limited spaces, so please make sure you can commit to the course before filling in the form on the top right of this page to reserve a space.

The workshop can be cold in the winter so please wear warm clothes. We have tea breaks and lunch breaks, which will be in a warmer room, and we are planning to provide vegetarian soup and bread at lunchtime, and we’ll ask for donations to cover the cost of that. We’ll check with those attending to confirm there will be interest in this.

All tools and materials are provided, and there is no need for you to bring a bike. If you want the chance to check some of the things you have learned immediately on you own bike then you’re welcome to bring it.
